People seek therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes the first sign that something needs attention isn't a crisis—it's a sense of exhaustion, disconnection, chronic stress, or feeling like you're carrying more than you can comfortably hold. Therapy can provide a space to better understand what's happening beneath the surface and support meaningful change. If you're curious about working together, I encourage you to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation to see if it feels like a good fit.

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and integrative. I believe that healing is not one-size-fits-all, so I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.
Depending on what feels most supportive, our work may incorporate somatic therapy, Brainspotting, Polyvagal Theory, IFS-inspired parts work, mindfulness-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), self-compassion practices, and person-centered therapy. I also bring a culturally sensitive and multicultural lens to my work, recognizing the many factors that shape our experiences and relationships.
Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with yourself, your strengths, and your capacity for healing.

Yes. Chronic pain is often influenced by the nervous system, stress, trauma, and emotional patterns. My approach incorporates somatic awareness, mindfulness, and principles from Polyvagal Theory to help clients better understand the mind-body connection and how their nervous system patterns may be contributing to their pain experience. Together, we'll explore ways to support regulation, create a greater sense of safety in the body, and reduce suffering related to chronic pain.

Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that helps access and process unresolved trauma, emotional distress, chronic pain, and nervous system activation. It can be integrated into traditional talk therapy when appropriate, or sessions can be longer and dedicated solely to Brainspotting.
-
No. Therapy is not about forcing you to revisit painful experiences before you're ready. We will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. Approaches such as somatic therapy and Brainspotting can help us work with difficult experiences while staying grounded in the present moment.

Many of my clients come to therapy after previous experiences that didn't quite fit. Finding the right therapeutic relationship and approach can make a significant difference. My goal is to create a space that feels collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs. I welcome
open and honest communication about what's working, what's not, and how we can best
support your growth together.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, your personal history, and what you're hoping to gain from the process.
Prior to our first session, you will receive intake paperwork to complete ahead of time so we can use our time together more fully for getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. If anything feels confusing or overwhelming, we'll go through it together in session.
